Stash Busters 2026 is a relaxed, inspiring monthly class built around Cluck Cluck Sew’s Modern Holiday Table Runner patterns—with plenty of room to branch out if you’d like.

Table runners are fun, trendy, and gift-worthy—but you’re also welcome to turn the patterns into something uniquely yours, such as:
Placemat • Scrappy Quilt • Wall Hanging • Pillow Cover • Mug Rug • Table Topper • Row Quilt • Ladder Quilt • Door Banner • Sampler Quilt • and more!

If you want to stick with a table runner, great. If you want to think outside the box, we’re here to help.

What We’ll Cover

Based on the group’s interests, we’ll share tips and demos on:

• Binding ideas and finishing techniques
• More accurate piecing
• Pressing and starching best practices
• Batting choices
• Appliqué options
• Thread and decorative stitching
• Color vs. value
• Favorite tools and embellishments

Stash Busters is equal parts skill-building, inspiration, sharing, and sewcializing (or accountability—your choice!).

All skill levels are welcome. Come every month or just when it works for you. If you want feedback, we’ll help you shape your project to match your style, colors, and vision.

Bring your sewing machine and supplies for class—or bring fabric, cutting tools, and baggies to prep projects for home sewing.

Returning Stash Busters with unfinished sampler quilts: Work on them during class—let’s celebrate progress!

Class Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund or credit for a class, cancellation must occur 7 days prior to class date.

Don't let this class get cancelled! We have a minimum student requirement of 5 students per class. If this isn't met one week prior to the start of class, the class may be cancelled.

Instructor Bio: While she was quite pregnant with her first and living in a shed while building her dream home, Lori took up quilting. A nesting instinct, perhaps?! Thirty years later, she's still quilting, sewing, and machine embroidering with friends and students across the continent. Join her at Quilting Mayhem the second Saturday of the month for Stash Busters.
