About This Class
One day. One system. Total confidence.
This intensive Pro‑Stitcher Boot Camp is designed to fast‑track your skills in a single, focused day of hands‑on learning. Perfect for new or “newish” owners, Boot Camp gives you the foundation, vocabulary, and confidence to fully explore your Pro‑Stitcher System—without fear of pushing buttons or trying new things.
Join Pro‑Stitcher expert Amy Peacock for a full‑day immersion where you’ll:
- Get a complete overview of every tab (File, Edit, Area, Modify, Repeat, View, Pro‑Stitcher)
- Learn to set up Edge‑to‑Edge quilting (E2E)
- Advance quilts with Drag & Drop
- Skew and crop designs to fit specific areas
- Save and manage designs effectively
- Recover your place after a shutdown
- Purchase and transfer designs online to your tablet
Format
- Fast‑paced skill building: demos, guided practice, and Q&A woven throughout the day
- Hands‑on learning: practical exercises on your own Pro‑Stitcher Simulator
- Interactive approach: student questions help shape the flow, alongside a structured curriculum
Requirements
- A Windows laptop (Windows 7 or later) with the Pro‑Stitcher Simulator downloaded before class begins.
- The simulator does not work on Mac laptops.
- Please do not detach your Pro‑Stitcher tablet from your longarm—bring your laptop with the simulator installed.
- Download PS Simulator instructions here.
- For installation help, contact Handi Quilter Technical Solutions at 1‑877‑697‑8458.
(Please note: class time cannot be used for downloads—thank you for coming prepared!)
By the end of Boot Camp, you’ll walk away with the confidence to navigate your Pro‑Stitcher System, troubleshoot common issues, and quilt with creativity and control.
