About This Class

Ready to make your very first quilt? This class is built just for you — the brand‑new, never‑touched‑a‑rotary‑cutter beginner. Judi, our wonderfully patient and wildly knowledgeable instructor, will guide you from cutting your very first strip all the way to binding your finished quilt.

What We’ll Cover

You’ll learn essential quilting skills step by step, including:

• Rotary cutting and safe tool use
• Accurate piecing
• Pressing for success
• Quilt top assembly
• Basting, quilting, and binding

Take a peek at the class sample hanging in the classroom to see what you’ll be creating. Then choose your own fabrics and colors to make it uniquely yours. Not sure where to start? Any Quilting Mayhem team member will happily help you pick the perfect palette.

Timing may vary slightly depending on student needs.

Class Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund or credit for a class, cancellation must occur 7 days prior to class date.

Help us keep this class on the calendar!
This class needs a minimum of 5 students to run. If we’re below that number one week before class, the session may be cancelled. Early registration makes a big difference.
