Meet Your Educator: Debbi Lashbrook Debbi is a nationally recognized BERNINA software expert with more than twenty years of experience developing training materials, videos, and curriculum for BERNINA of America. She is known for breaking down complex software concepts into clear, approachable steps that inspire confidence and creativity. Through her education platform, Software Sewlutions, Debbi teaches a wide range of online courses in BERNINA Embroidery Software. She brings her enthusiasm for how software can enhance creativity for sewists of all experience levels and interests.

This lecture/demo session explores how BERNINA Embroidery Software V9 and the B 990 work together to expand your creative possibilities. You’ll see how software‑driven tools can be applied to real embroidery and quilting scenarios, including creating placement lines, appliqué, quilting designs, and more. Perfect for anyone wanting to better understand what V9 can do in practical, project‑ready applications.

What We’ll Cover

Debbi will demonstrate how to:

• Create placement lines for embroidery projects
• Design appliqué in V9
• Create edge‑to‑edge quilting designs
• Generate stippling and decorative fills
• Design buttonholes using software
• Work with BQM files for computerized quilting
