Quilting Mayhem is excited to welcome Twisted Caster, the artisan yarn studio of master dyer Kelly from Monroe, WA. Her hand‑dyed yarns are crafted from luxurious blends of wool, silk, alpaca, and cashmere — and you won’t find them on Etsy or any online marketplace. These skeins are truly in‑person exclusives.

Kelly’s work is deeply influenced by global fashion trends, drawing inspiration from the color palettes and textures emerging from Paris and London. Her rare DK mohair fluff is a specialty base carried and dyed by only a handful of makers in the U.S. — a must‑see for fiber lovers.

As an author and retired forensic psychologist, Kelly has found both joy and therapy in the art of yarn dyeing. Her creativity and expertise shine through in every skein.
