About This Class
This class builds on the skills learned in Free‑Motion Quilting 101 and gives you more guided practice with support from your instructor. You’ll explore new designs, learn how to manage larger quilts on your domestic machine, and continue developing confidence and control in your free‑motion quilting.

This class requires a minimum of 6 students to run. If we’re below that number one week before class, the session may be cancelled. Early registration makes a big difference.
Instructor
Cole Whitaker — QuiltCon 2024 Award Winner
Cole has been drawing, sewing, and designing since childhood, and his creative approach to quilting has earned national recognition—including a Second‑Place award for his Joy quilt at QuiltCon 2024. He specializes in pixel quilts, foundation paper‑piecing design, and both free‑motion and ruler‑work quilting on longarm and domestic machines. Cole brings a thoughtful, encouraging teaching style to every class and loves helping quilters build confidence through hands‑on exploration and skill‑building. He currently designs custom quilts and works as a professional longarmer.
