Quilting Mayhem is excited to host a special Fiber Riot Trunk Show featuring two beloved local makers: A Skeiner Darkly and Sunrise Grove. This two‑day event brings together small‑batch yarn, handcrafted tools, and the creative energy of the Pacific Northwest’s fiber community.
A Skeiner Darkly offers hand‑dyed yarns with imaginative, sci‑fi‑inspired color stories. Dyed in small batches by Ann Woods, each skein reflects her playful approach to color exploration — from planned pooling shades to fades and merino blends that make every project feel special.
Sunrise Grove, created by Camano Island artist Summer Myers, blends woodland charm with practical craftsmanship. Her fiber tools and accessories — often made from wood and leather — bring a sense of magic and intention to everyday making, designed to feel both beautiful and deeply functional.

"I love this place. Lighting is excellent, so I can really see the fabric colors and quality. The employees have always been so helpful and a rich source of ideas. Highly recommend how they create a great place to rent equipment, get ideas and help, and find beautiful fabric."
