About This Class

This 2‑hour class is for those brand‑new to knitting or those returning after a long break and wanting a refresher on the basics.

You will learn to knit a beautiful textured scarf (photo below) using just three simple stitches. This class is suitable for beginners.

What We’ll Cover

We’ll explore the foundational skills every new knitter needs:

• How to hold needles and yarn comfortably
• Basic knit stitch
• Purl stitch
• Combining stitches to create texture
• Starting and finishing your project

Class Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund or credit for a class, cancellation must occur 7 days prior to class date.

This class needs a minimum of 3 students to run. If we’re below that number one week before class, the session may be cancelled. Early registration makes a big difference.

Teresa has been teaching knitting and crocheting for nearly 20 years. Helping people discover a love for fiber arts is one of her greatest joys. She is also an independent hand‑dye artist creating yarns, spinning fibers, and fabrics.
