CLASSROOM COURTESY:
For the comfort of all students, please avoid wearing perfume, cologne, or heavily scented products when attending classes. Your consideration helps everyone have a safe and enjoyable experience.
This beginner‑friendly course is designed for quilters who have never tried foundation paper piecing and want a solid, confidence‑building introduction. You’ll learn what FPP is, why quilters use it, and how to choose the right tools before moving into guided, step‑by‑step instruction. Cole will walk you through creating a small quilt top, beginning with simple blocks and gradually progressing to more complex designs. By the end, you’ll have the foundational skills needed to begin working with beginning‑to‑intermediate FPP patterns on your own.
What We’ll Cover
Cole will guide you through each stage of the FPP process, building skills block by block while helping you understand how the technique works and how to apply it to future projects.
Understanding the basics of foundation paper piecing
Choosing and using essential FPP tools
Constructing simple to moderately complex FPP quilt blocks
