Whether you own a Radiance, Solaris, Meridian 2, or Altair 2, this class is designed to help you understand what your machine can truly do — and how to make the most of its powerful technology.
You’ll spend the day exploring features, practicing techniques, and building confidence as you learn how to navigate your machine’s tools, icons, settings, and creative functions.

In this one‑day workshop, you’ll explore:
- Machine Navigation & Settings — What’s this icon? Where’s that setting? Learn how to confidently navigate your screen and understand the tools at your fingertips.
- Embroidery Editing & Placement — Use the Camera, Projector, Laser, and Placement Tools for precise, professional results.
- Font Editing — Discover endless ways to personalize your projects with advanced text tools.
- Yarn Couching — Join the viral buzz! Add texture, dimension, and creativity using specialty couching features.
- Creative Play — Learn, explore, and have fun while discovering what your Baby Lock machine can really do.

Instructor
Candace Trevino
Candace’s path to teaching comes from her background in education, training, and public speaking rather than traditional sewing. After years of sewing for her kids and taking classes herself, she discovered a passion for helping others gain confidence with Sewing, Embroidery, and Serger Machines.
She specializes in sergers, offering beginner‑to‑advanced workshops on knits, specialty threads, garment construction, and home décor. Candace also teaches New Owner Classes for machines from entry‑level to top‑of‑the‑line, focusing on screen navigation, editing features, machine care, and “In‑The‑Hoop” projects.
Known as the “Favorite Teacher,” Candace brings a fun, energetic style that keeps classes full and students inspired. During the pandemic, she led more than 30 Facebook and YouTube live shows, and her bi‑weekly YouTube series T‑Time with Candace – Tools, Tips & Techniques continues to highlight machines, notions, and guest instructors.
