DESCRIPTION
The classic Ohio Star block has been in quilts for decades, and now for decades to come, you can cut the GO! Ohio Star Block out in a fraction of the time. All the pieces and parts are on one die board for you to cut everything in a flash.

How to Die Cut 2-Color Ohio Star Quilt Blocks:
For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller. For 2-color block, cut four squares from background fabric, one square from print fabric, eight quarter square triangles from print fabric and eight quarter square triangles from background fabric.
- Squares: Cut 5" strips across the width of the fabric. Fanfold into 5" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut eight squares across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 56 squares.
- Quarter Square Triangles: Cut 5 3/4" strips across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 5 3/4" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 24 quarter square triangles across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 144 quarter square triangles.

Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
