About This Class

The Blue Onion Quilt is a fun, modern project that blends scrappy charm with smooth, gentle curves. Using twelve fabrics of your choice, you’ll create striking oval blocks that come together into a bold, flowing design.

In this workshop, you’ll explore sewing curves while working with the Ovals Always Ruler to achieve clean, accurate shapes. Once your blocks are made, assembling the quilt top is quick and satisfying — a great way to turn your favorite fabrics into a cozy throw.

The finished quilt measures approximately 50" × 70", but it’s easy to resize to fit your needs. Norma’s class sample is 55" × 74", a comfortable and versatile throw size.
