Gemini

Being born in June, there have always been two sides to me (more, if I am honest). Gemini is inspired not just by my astrological sign, but by the back and forth I face daily as a designer. With this collection, I give you a 2-in-1 blender. Why choose one background when you can have two? The edge of the center stripe in Gemini can be used to split a block, or even an entire quilt. Then, the light and dark parts of the print become your background fabrics. The two backgrounds can be used to create multi-faceted quilts with a very contemporary feel. I have been experimenting with split backgrounds in much of my recent work, and I’m so excited to have this new blender to show you all the ideas I have for experimenting with this technique.
