Get ready for a seriously inspiring FREE session! We’re thrilled to welcome Connie Fanders, longtime BERNINA educator and one of the brilliant minds behind the development and design of the brand‑new BERNINA 990. This event takes place IN STORE at Quilting Mayhem, and Connie will be joining us virtually to walk you through the features, functions, and thoughtful details that make this machine such a game‑changer for embroidery enthusiasts.
Connie’s embroidery expertise runs deep—design creation, in‑the‑hoop techniques, specialty threads, you name it—and she knows the 990 inside and out. During this event, she’ll show you how its innovative embroidery tools and intuitive software can elevate your stitching, spark new ideas, and make your creative process smoother than ever.
While Connie teaches virtually, you’ll be here in the shop with us, enjoying the full in‑store experience, seeing the machine up close, and learning alongside fellow makers. It’s a rare chance to learn directly from someone who helped shape the machine from the ground up.

Class Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund or credit for a class, cancellation must occur 7 days prior to class date.

This class needs a minimum of 5 students to run. If we’re below that number one week before class, the session may be cancelled. Early registration makes a big difference.
Instructor
Connie Fanders
Connie Fanders has spent her entire career in the sewing industry. She began as a BERNINA Dealer and later held key roles at BERNINA of America, including District Sales Manager, Director of Education and Training, and Manager of Embroidery Products. She was deeply involved in the development and testing of the new BERNINA 990 and continues to travel the country teaching sewing, quilting, and embroidery techniques. Connie’s specialty is breaking down BERNINA features in a clear, practical way so makers can get the most out of their machines.
