Ready to bring your quilt top to life? Rent time on our Handi Quilter Amara Longarm and enjoy the satisfaction of finishing your masterpiece yourself. Whether you're adding the final flourish to a gift or tackling your next showpiece, our longarm station is here to help.
Rental Details
- Reservations are recommended to secure your preferred time
- Available daily (excluding holidays and store closures)
- Regular rental hours: 10:00am – 4:30pm
- Early closure days: 10:00am – 2:30pm
Required Supplies
- Quilt top, backing, and batting
- Leaders
- Quilt pins
- Bobbins and bobbin case
- Thread
- Scrap fabric for testing
Suggested Supplies
- Comfortable shoes
- Covered beverage to stay hydrated
- Snacks
- Headphones
Before You Arrive
Preparing your quilt ahead of time helps you make the most of your rental session. We recommend:
- Pressing your quilt top and backing
- Ensuring your backing is squared and at least 8" larger than your quilt top (4" on each side)
- Checking that your batting is appropriately sized
- Bringing wound bobbins — or winding them at the shop if you don’t have a bobbin winder at home
- Bringing any specialty tools or notions you prefer to use
Requirements
You must have completed Longarm 101 at Quilting Mayhem or rented the machine within the past 60 days.
Equipment
Handi Quilter Amara 20 on a 12‑foot frame.
Cancellation Policy
To receive a refund or credit for a rental, cancellation must occur 7 days prior to the rental date.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Shipping
Orders are processed within 24 - 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Returns
We have a 14-day return policy on limited items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
