Day 1: Welcome to the World of Cuddle®

Start your Cuddle® journey by learning everything you need to know for success.

• Cuddle® 101: We'll introduce you to Shannon Fabrics' Cuddle® and share our favorite tips for cutting, handling, pinning, and sewing with confidence. You'll quickly discover that Cuddle® is much easier to sew than you might think!
• BERNINA Serger Overview: Become familiar with your BERNINA L8 Series Serger as we review machine features, accessories, and settings that will help you achieve beautiful results throughout the event.
• Studio Case: Keep your favorite sewing essentials organized in this stylish zippered case. Perfect for notions, travel supplies, embroidery accessories, or everyday organization.

Day 2: Build Your Skills & Create Beautiful Projects

Continue building your confidence while learning decorative serger techniques and professional finishing methods that you can use on future Cuddle® projects.

• Signature Stitch Blanket: Discover beautiful serger finishes as you create a cozy blanket you'll reach for again and again. You'll learn techniques that make your projects look polished and professionally finished.
• Sculpted Pillow: Learn decorative serger techniques while creating a luxurious pillow that adds texture and style to any room.
• Bonus — Sew Simple Serger Blanket: A quick and satisfying project that proves beautiful doesn't have to be complicated. Once you make one, you'll want to make them for everyone you know!

This event is non‑refundable.

We are flying the educator in specifically for this event. Please take this into consideration and make sure it fits in your schedule before signing up. If you have questions, email info@quiltingmayhem.com. Please, no phone calls to the store.

Instructor

Mary Stevens

Mary has been involved in the crafting world since the age of 12 but didn't begin sewing until her late 30's when a lifelong fascination with quilting was fostered by a very talented and patient neighbor. With a basket of scrap strips and a log cabin pattern, her first quilt was created. Mary’s addiction for fabric and patterns began!

Her love of Cuddle® started with a baby quilt and a daughter that wanted "wubbie" for backing. From there, the discovery of a local pattern designer of receiving blankets with appliqués and matching stuffed animals all created with Cuddle® sealed her fate.
