• Your machine, along with power cord, foot control, slide-on table, and knee-lift
• All accessories you received with your machine
• Five cones of serger thread — we recommend red, yellow, blue, purple, and green

Ready to get comfortable and confident with your BERNINA L860 or L890? This hands‑on mastery class introduces you to the essential features of your machine so you can serge with accuracy and ease. Whether you're brand new to your machine or looking to deepen your skills, you’ll learn how to navigate the interface, understand your stitch options, and build a strong foundation for successful serging.

What We’ll Cover

In this class, we’ll explore the core functions of your L860 or L890, including how to set up, thread, and operate your machine with confidence. Students with the L890 will also receive instruction on coverstitch and chainstitch features.

• Machine threading and air-threading basics
• Stitch selection, settings, and customization
• Using Guided Mode and Expert Mode
• Coverstitch and chainstitch techniques (L890 only)
• Combo stitches and specialty applications (L890 only)
• Maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting

This class needs a minimum of 2 students to run. If we’re below that number one week before class, the session may be cancelled. Early registration makes a big difference.
