The Wildwood Wrap Dress - Curvy

The Wildwood Wrap Dress is a shawl collar wrap dress with a detached, obi-inspired belt. It features waist and shoulder pleats for a dreamy drape around the neckline, a slim skirt with deep pockets and a wide, faced ham. There are two sleeve options: dolman rolled-up sleeves; short cut-on sleeves. There are two hem lengths: below the knee; midi-length.

Difficulty level: intermediate
Suggested fabrics: Sleeve version A & B - dress weight linen, linen blends, supple cotton lawn, cotton ikat, dress weight cottons that aren't too stiff. Sleeve version A (additional fabrics) - rayon, silk, fabrics with some drape. *Note that Sleeve version B does not roll up well with drapey fabrics.
Sundries: Thread, light weight fusible interfacing, (1) 3/4"/18mm button, 42"/107cm of 1/4"/6mm wide twill tape or ready made ties, small hook and eye set.
Tools: fabric scissors, iron and ironing board, straight pins tailor's chalk, hand sewing needle, optional tailor's ham.
