In this two-day workshop with artist and instructor David Owen Hastings, you will explore a modern, layered approach to machine quilting using simple quilt sandwiches as your canvas. Instead of stitching in the ditch or relying on overall patterns, you will experiment with overlapping motifs, varied thread colors, and added hand stitching to create rich texture and depth. The focus is on play, discovery, and building confidence with your walking foot. This is an all-levels workshop.
