| Job Description : We are looking for another Mayhem Maker to join our team. Spend your time in a creative haven, working with others, to make an inspiring and enjoyable atmosphere for our customers. Quilting Mayhem has grown significantly since its start in 2015, and we have another big year planned. Come be part of the best Mayhem around! Basic sewing and sewing machine knowledge preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Basic computer skills also needed. Must be friendly and able to engage will all kinds of people. Being a team player is critical. Organizational skills and basic math skills are necessary. Must be available to work weekends and have a flexible schedule. Will possibly need to work evenings. Needs to be able to use Slack and have an email account to receive company communication. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Interact with customers to show and sell product 2. Good phone skills 3. Learn all makes and models of machines to be able to demonstrate and sell 4. Ability to work by themselves 5. Ability to multitask 6. Ability to count tills 7. Use computer POS for sales 8. General cleaning (bathrooms, vacuum, dust, sweep, etc.) 9. Inventory 10. Putting product out on sales floor 11. Able to help set up for classes, events, and retreats 12. Able to cut fabric 13. Able to climb stepladders 14. All other duties as assigned |
