Beginning Machine Sewing for Youth: Ages 12-17



Join Sonia Cole for a learn and sew class for youth with little to no machine sewing experience.

Students will learn to clean and thread their machines and to fill a bobbin.
During this hands-on class students will make a simple tote, while learning these valuable sewing skills:

• Cutting fabric from a pattern
• Pinning
• Sewing straight, zig zag, and button stitches

Class includes instruction, sewing reference guide, and pattern for the project.

Class Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund or credit for a class, cancellation must occur 5 days prior to class date.

Don't let this class get cancelled! We have a minimum student requirement of 2 students per class. If this isn't met one week prior to the start of class, the class may be cancelled.

Instructor Bio: Sonia Cole has been sewing for 40+ years and has many years of experience teaching children to cook, sew, and craft. She enjoys teaching youth as they are eager to learn. She loves seeing the joy and sense of accomplishment they get from making their own projects.
