BERNINA Fabulous Feet
BERNINA Fabulous Feet will introduce you to many of the BERNINA presser feet and accessories.
Each one-hour class is divided into 2 parts. First, a brief explanation and demo of that month’s foot or accessory. Then it’s your turn! We will have machines set up for you to give the foot a try. Join us each month to find your new favorite foot!

June 2 – Knits/Finishing Seams
Sewing knit fabrics on your sewing machine is not difficult but does require a little know-how. Let’s see how foot #2/2A can help.
July 7 – Fagoted Seams
This decorative seam technique is a 3-part process that uses two feet: #7 & #20/20C.
August 4 – Edge Joining Seams
When using foot #10 for joining edges, the result is a flat, decorative, or practical seam.
September 1 – Bias Binding and French Binding
Bound edges are common on quilts but can also be found on other projects including garments, purses, and pillows. This month, we will look at two different binding methods. Bias Binder # 87, #88, and foot # 95/95c, and foot #71.
October 6 – Corded Edges
Adding decorative cord to edges is easy to do and uses a simple zigzag stitch. Let’s see how to add extra flair and dimension to edges using foot #12/12C.
November 3 – Narrow (Rolled) Hems
Stitch beautiful narrow hems using one of the five BERNINA hemmer feet: #61, 62, 63, 64 & 66.
December 1 – Sticky Fabrics
Non-stick feet have coated soles and are made to move over “sticky” fabrics such as leather, plastic, vinyl, microfibers, etc. Feet 52/52C/52D, 53, 54, and 56 all have familiar uncoated counterparts commonly used for sewing other fabrics.
