Pixel Pattern-Making Class
Learn how to create your own Pixel Art pattern for quilts, potholders, stockings, and much more. This class will show you how to create a pattern based on a pixelated picture using nothing but pencil and graph paper. Cole will go through the steps with you of choosing a picture, drawing it out, and planning the measurements. No artistic skills needed! And he promises the little bit of math isn't tough.
Choose any style for your pattern. Shown here are mostly examples of video game-themed quilts, but you can choose anything! A basic picture of your house or whatever suits your fancy.
Supplies: Each student will need to bring a pencil, graph paper, and their phone or tablet. Colored pencils are optional but helpful.
Class Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund or credit for a class, cancellation must occur 5 days prior to class date.
Don't let this class get canceled! We have a minimum student requirement of 5 students per class. If this isn't met one week prior to the start of class, the class may be canceled.
