Super Tote Bag

This is an in-person class that meets at Quilting Mayhem with proper Covid-19 procedures in place. Please read the note at the bottom of the page.

Tamee of@MadeByTamee has made dozens of Noodlehead pouches, clutches, and bags since 2010, and the Super Tote is one of her favorites. Anna Graham of Noodlehead designs great modern bags (over 24), with wonderfully easy-to-follow instructions. She also has a line of canvas fabrics that can be found at Quilting Mayhem.

The Super Tote finishes at 13.5” wide x 15” tall x 3.5” - 5” deep with lots of pockets and makes a great diaper bag, gym bag, or haul-everything-but-the-kitchen-sink tote.

During this class you’ll learn how to make your own piping (Tamee will provide cording if you don’t have any), how to install a zipper (they aren’t as scary or hard as they may seem), and a way to make handles without having to turn a tube (which is the absolute worst). Tamee will also share her preferred alterations that can be seen in the store sample (alternative straps, fully lined interior pockets).
