Retro Kimberbell June 2021

This class is virtual, so as long as you're local, you can watch from the comfort of your own home or choose to come into the shop for the class. You must be local in order to participate, per Kimberbell's rules.

Join Lori as she gives you tips on each of the four projects this month. We're revisiting the past four years of Kimberbell's Dealer Exclusives, so if you missed any designs, now is the time to get them!

This class will be taught via GoToMeeting (similar to Zoom) so it's easy to participate and interact. It's also recorded so you can watch it at anytime. Bring your USB stick to class to get the designs OR drop off your USB stick before class so the designs can be put on it. Be sure to leave the stick to Lori's attention and note which format you need.

June's designs:

Wildflower Blooms Tote Bag
With fringed blossoms, satin stems, and pull flowers, this Wildflower Blooms tote is casual elegance for any occasion. With unstitched sides, it's easy to hoop the denim tote, embroider the colorful spray on the deep blue canvas, and then sew up the seams to complete the bag! A simple fringe technique and scalloped ribbon add delightful dimension. Create large blooms by pulling the string, fluffing the petals, and attaching to the tote with a few whip stitches!

Pop of Summer Table Runner
What's the one thing that can make a hot summer day perfect? Definitely a popsicle on a stick! Juicy colors and appliqued popsicles make this bright table runner just as exciting as the icy treat itself. This multi-hoop project has a pieced center section quilters will love too.

Whimsy Flower Cinch Bag
What's your fix for a creative whim? How about a Kimberbell cinch bag, completely lined and sewn in one hooping! The whimsical flower applique is satin stitched with puffy foam and will be darling in whatever color meets your fancy.

Summer Popsicle: Machine Embroider by Number
Did you ever count the days of summer in popsicle sticks? This project has us reminiscing of summer vacation when the only thing on our to-do list was to play. With three layers of icy sweetness, the pieced popsicle block features crosshatch quilting on the large and medium sizes with optional ribbon loops for hanging. The small size is just right for a pin cushion, coaster, or ornament.
