Retro Kimberbell Mar 2021

This class is virtual, so as long as you're local, you can watch from the comfort of your own home or choose to come into the shop for the class. You must be local in order to participate, per Kimberbell's rules.

Join Lori as she gives you tips on each of the four projects this month. We're revisiting the past four years of Kimberbell's Dealer Exclusives, so if you missed any designs, now is the time to get them!

This class will be taught via GoToMeeting (similar to Zoom) so it's easy to participate and interact. It's also recorded so you can watch it at anytime. Bring your USB stick to class to get the designs OR drop off your USB stick before class so the designs can be put on it. Be sure to leave the stick to Lori's attention and note which format you need.

March's designs:

Faberge Cutwork Egg
The ornate Faberge eggs were Easter gifts commissioned for mothers and daughters in the Russian imperial family. While you may not have a royal title, you'll be stitching like a queen using techniques like cutwork and fringe embroidery to make this magnificent Easter decoration. Once embroidered, the ornament can be framed in Kimberbell's traditional bamboo hoop and adorned with ribbon bows and pompom trim.

Sweet Feet Rain Boots
When life gives you rainy days, why not wear cute boots and jump in puddles?! Or just stay inside and stitch a pair of darling rain boots on your embroidery machine. A layer of vinyl makes happy cotton prints appear like real rubber boots. To encourage a friend who is weathering the storms of life, Kimberbell has included a printable pdf with five gift tag options.

Peek-A-Boo Bunny Tea Towel
No matter how long the winter, welcome the spring with this blossomed bunny tea towel. Featuring fabric applique, adorable face details, and decorative stitches, this bunny peeks perfectly over the ribbon border.

So Hoppy Bunny Ears Cinch Bag
Some bunny is going to be very hoppy to receive this adorable bag filled with Easter or springtime treats. The cinch bag is one of Kimberbell's most innovative designs. They've added embroidery details and long ears to make the most precious spring bunny in two sizes. Choose a contrasting fabric for the lining, which also becomes the inside of the bunny ears.
