Retro Kimberbell Feb 2021

This class is virtual, so as long as you're local, you can watch from the comfort of your own home or choose to come into the shop for the class. You must be local in order to participate, per Kimberbell's rules.

Join Lori as she gives you tips on each of the four projects this month. We're revisiting the past four years of Kimberbell's Dealer Exclusives, so if you missed any designs, now is the time to get them!

This class will be taught via GoToMeeting (similar to Zoom) so it's easy to participate and interact. It's also recorded so you can watch it at anytime. Bring your USB stick to class to get the designs OR drop off your USB stick before class so the designs can be put on it. Be sure to leave the stick to Lori's attention and note which format you need.

February's designs:

Hello Winter Bench Buddy
Like kisses from heaven, the first snowflake brings both wonder and delight. This winter Bench Buddy welcomes the season with a snowflake made of white applique glitter. Pieced borders are added after embroidery on your sewing machine. Design files include options for double hooping the pillow top in a 5x7 hoop.

Chenille Valentine Heart Banner

"What the world needs now is love, sweet love" and those who love machine embroidery will spread the endearment with this darling chenille heart pennant. The appliqued heart features two variations for the chenille stitches--diagonal or chevron--on two pennant sizes. Make a single pennant or banner of coordinating colors and share the love.

Do You Want to Stitch a Snowman Mug Rug
In a floppy hat with embroidered pompom, this stitched snowman just might pass for a ski bunny! And he's guaranteed not to melt under your steaming cup. Mug rugs make a perfect gift when paired with hot cocoa mix or a coffee cup. Or embroider a set so the whole family has one to use after a day of snow play.

Modern Patchwork Zipper Pouch
The combination of a simple patchwork strip with contemporary techniques like quilting in the hoop, gives this zipper pouch a subtle sophistication in all four sizes. Just right for sewing notions, makeup, and other essentials. Kimberbell zipper pouches are fully lined with no raw edges or stabilizer showing.
